Welcome Eagle Scout Mason Trub

On October 8th, 2023, Mason Trub from Troop #9 held his Eagle Scout Court of Honor at the Cresaptown United Methodist Church which I was invited to attend.
Mason performed his Eagle Scout Project at Rose Hill Cemetery this past year. He built us a wonderful welcome sign which is the first that the cemetery has ever had to my knowledge. It is made of wood which is painted green with a corkboard insert, and is protect by plexiglass which we can access and lock. We are now able to display our cemetery policies and also display contact information about the church. Mason also held a group project this past spring which entailed a much needed general cleanup around the house and mausoleum, as well as some tombstone cleaning. We had pizza for lunch and good conversation. There were a total of 14 volunteers.
Thank Mason and the rest of Troop #9 for their commitment to Rose Hill Cemetery and to the community at large. We are proud and honored to have been a part of this experience with Mason and we wish him all the best with his journey at A.C. He is a freshman this year. Best wishes to you Mason!
